Our Doctors
Dr. Donald Adams, FASPS
Dr. Adams attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine and has been in practice in Framingham since 1984. His professional interests are reconstructive foot surgeries and wounds with limb salvage. He is board certified in reconstructive surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr Adams is past president of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society. Currently Dr Adams is on the Active Staff of MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham campus in the department of Surgery. He is the Medical Staff treasurer and Chief of the Podiatry division.
Dr. Adams is heavily involved in teaching and is the director of the Foot and Ankle training program at the Medical Center. He started the residency program in 1997 and has trained over 20 foot and ankle surgeons. As part of this training program Dr Adams attends a clubfoot mission in Central America yearly as part of a team to help correct complicated club feet in children. “Operation Footprint” has improved the lived of over 500 patients since the program began. Dr. James Parlon, FACFAS
A Boston native, Dr. Parlon attended Boston College and The Dr.Wm. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He performed a residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn and Columbia Medical Center Dallas Southwest.
He joined Dr. Adams in 1998. He is on staff at Metrowest Medical Center and is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Parlon enjoys sports medicine and pediatric patients. He and his wife live in Medway with their two children. He is an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan and can occasionally be found at Fenway Park on his off days.

Dr. Kari Phan, DPM
Dr. Phan grew up near Boston and attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philly. She completed a 3 year surgical residency in forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Dr. Phan treats foot and ankle pathologies of all age groups.
When she is off duty she enjoys cosplaying at conventions, tabletop gaming, and attending Kpop concerts.

Joanne, Kathy and our office manager, Sue, are here to assist you. From making appointments, to helping you with your insurance questions, to clarifying directions, our staff will gladly answer all your questions.
With early morning and evening office hours we try our best to accommodate patient's busy personal schedules. If you have an acute problem such as an infection, or are in pain, please let our staff know so they can arrange for you to be seen as quickly as possible. If you are unable to keep your appointment, call us to reschedule. We appreciate 24 hours notice on cancelled appointments so other patients can be seen. A parent is required to accompany their children under 18 years of age for their visits.
When you arrive for your first visit we ask you to bring your insurance card with you, and if required, a referral. Although we will be treating your foot or ankle condition, it is important for us to know the status of your general health , what medications you are taking (including nonprescription medicines) and if you have any allergies. The following form is our Welcome Sheet. If you wish, you may print the form off your computer, fill it out at your convenience and bring it with you for your first visit.
