Meet Our Doctors

At Framingham Podiatry, we are pleased to have three podiatrists available to treat your foot care problems. With over 40 years of cumulative experience, the doctors have cared for thousands of patients' feet. They look forward to meeting you and addressing your concerns.

Dr. Donald Adams
A life long resident of Massachusetts, Dr. Adams graduated cum laude from Worcester State College and The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a residency at Oxford Hospital in Philadelphia. He has practiced in Framingham for 17 years. Dr. Adams is on staff at MetroWest Medical Center and The University of Massachusetts Medical Center at Marlboro. He is the Treasurer of the medical staff at MetroWest Medical Center and their director of podiatric medical education. Dr. Adams specializes in foot surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Adams and his wife live in Holliston with their three children. He is involved in Cub Scouts, baseball and golf.

Dr. Pamela Sowizral
Dr. Sowizral grew up in New Jersey. She graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and then went on to Chicago's Dr. Wm. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. A residency at Lincoln West Medical Center in Chicago completed her education. Dr. Sowizral practiced in Illinois before joining Dr. Adams in 1995. She is on staff at MetroWest Medical Center. Her interests include diabetic and geriatric patients. Dr. Sowizral is board qualified by the American College of Podiatric Surgery and board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Sowizral lives with her husband and son in Bolton. She enjoys reading, gardening, bird watching and drawing.

Dr. James Parlon
A Boston native, Dr. Parlon attended Boston College and The Dr.Wm. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He performed a residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn and Columbia Medical Center Dallas Southwest. Dr. Parlon joined Dr. Adams and Dr. Sowizral in 1998. He is on staff at MetroWest Medical Center and is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Parlon enjoys sports medicine and pediatric patients.

Meet Our Staff: Linda, Rita, Joanne, Mary Ellen, Donna, Ruth and our office manager, Kathy, are here to assist you. From making appointments, to helping you with your insurance questions, to clarifying directions, our staff will gladly answer all your questions.

 

Office Hours

Office Hours: Appointments are available Monday through Friday. With early morning and evening office hours we try our best to accommodate patient's busy personal schedules. If you have an acute problem such as an infection, or are in pain, please let our staff know so they can arrange for you to be seen as quickly as possible. If you are unable to keep your appointment, call us to reschedule. We appreciate 24 hours notice on cancelled appointments so other patients can be seen. A parent is required to accompany their children under 18 years of age for their visits.
When you arrive for your first visit we ask you to bring your insurance card with you, and if required, a referral. Although we will be treating your foot or ankle condition, it is important for us to know the status of your general health , what medications you are taking (including nonprescription medicines) and if you have any allergies. The following form is our Welcome Sheet. If you wish, you may print the form off your computer, fill it out at your convenience and bring it with you for your first visit.
